MERITS

PPW trophies and merits are available to all PPW members.
Merits - 2 types of merits: Image merits and Trophy merits. Maker’s top 4 scoring images are eligible for merits. Trophy merits will be awarded for each image that receives a trophy.
Score: 80 and above = 1 merit and Category Trophy eligible
Score: 78-79 = ½ merit
Trophies = 1 merit

Top 10 Photographers - Determined by the highest aggregate score of the entrant’s top 4 images.

Best of Show - Best single entry as determined by the Jurors.

People’s Choice Trophy - Voted on by the people at the conference.

Rookie of the Year - Awarded to a first time entrant with the highest aggregate score of their top 4 images. Alma Gray Scholarship is included.

ASP Elite* - 80 or above, highest scoring image from an ASP (American Society of Photographers) member.

PPA CPP* - Highest scoring image from a CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) member.

*Affiliate Awards/trophies are given at their discretion and entrants must meet requirements to be eligible. To be considered for these awards please follow their rules and also check the appropriate box during the entry process in printcompetition.com

OTHER HONORS - No Merit will be awarded for these honors

Judge’s Choice Ribbons - Awarded to the image each juror feels is most deserving of recognition – regardless of how the imaged scored. Any image accepted for exhibition is eligible. Only one Judge’s Choice ribbon is allowed per image. Recipients must be PPW a member.

Honor Court - Automatically awarded to entries with an 87 or above. Recipients must be PPW a member.
