All entries must be uploaded to printcompetition.com 

Basic subscription to printcompetition.com is required

Maximum of 10 digital entries per entrant

Entry fees must be paid at time of image upload; no refunds

All are welcome to compete, however only PPW Members are eligible for merits and trophies

Eligibility

1. Entrants must have captured and created the original exposure or exposures using photographic processes. 
2. All processing, manipulation and rendering are to be done by the entrant or under their direct supervision.
3. All photographic elements must have been created by the maker unless otherwise allowed in the specific category. 
4. Stock images and AI are prohibited unless otherwise stated in the specific category. Guide images of such elements are required to be included on the entry.
5. The entrant’s name shall not appear anywhere in or on the image.
6. Images made under the supervision of an instructor, during a workshop or not self-directed are prohibited.
7. Entries of the same subject in multiple images are allowed if the images are entirely different concepts. 
8. Images that are awarded PPW merits may not be reentered in another PPW Image Competition.  
9. Any images that have previously been entered into a PPA competition are eligible
10. The entrant must have obtained and have access to all necessary releases (i.e: model, contract, property) and agrees to hold PPW harmless from any claims and/or liabilities arising out of PPW’s usage of any image submitted in competition.

Disqualification

1. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification of an entry. If any entry, in the good-faith opinion of PPW, violates copyright, trademark or other applicable law, that entry shall be disqualified. 
2. The decision of the PPW Image Competition Committee is final. 

Third party images and software

1. Third party imagery, AI elements, and/or stock photos are only allowed in specific categories and must be included in guide images. 
2. Actions produced by third parties that enhance characteristics of the image (but do not add elements) are permitted unless otherwise stated in the category. 

Submission

1. Files must be sized so the longest dimension is 4000 pixels. Each file must contain an embedded color profile of either sRGB or Adobe RGB1998 and be saved at a JPEG quality of 10.
2. Files are to be named with the title of the entry, no underscores or special characters.
