A headshot is more than just a portrait of a client.
It is a collaboration between the photographer and the subject to create a very important branding and marketing tool representing the client and their business to the world at large.

Conceptual Ideas to cover:

Planning the tone and look of the headshot. Deciding on the message to be conveyed to the client's potential clients or employers.

Picking lighting and background.

Helping the client find expression and look that conveys what the client is representing. Telling their crafted story.

Technical Ideas to cover:

Lighting

Choosing focal length

Tethering

Client Interaction

Image selection

File Handling and Retouching

What to bring if you want to photograph:

Your camera and lens(s).
Preferably lens(s) should be an 85mm, 105mm, or a 70-200mm
Godox Transmitter - If you don't have one please let us know what camera system you use and we'll try to arrange one for you to borrow.
Suggested to also bring your tripod, or an Arca Swiss style mounting plate.

Soft drinks and coffee will be provided. Lunch will be on your own
