The cloud is transforming how businesses consume IT today with consumption-based resources and services that can scale up or down as needed. SMBs can take advantage of a scale that was previously cost-prohibitive. In a McKinsey study (McKinsey & Co Winning in SMB Cloud, Jul 2011), SMBs were able to reduce costs by 50% by moving to an IaaS solution. According to AMI, roughly one quarter of SBs and one half of MBs plan to shift their budgets to more cloud spending over on-premises spending. This shift is creating new revenue streams for partners as they move to cloud-enabled solutions and services. A Forrester study (Forrester MSP Market Overview, May 2012) found annual recurring revenue for MSPs growing at 28% year-over-year.

Microsoft Azure helps customers make technology a business advantage by:
Getting the most out of your IT investment; Being prepared for the unexpected; Getting scalable storage without spending a fortune; Enabling remote access while protecting business data.

Matt and Danielle teach on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 to 8:45am in Veranda (not the Upper Terrace as schedule states)

Michael was born a photographer. From his first Brownie box camera, he has been involved with every facet of photography.  When he and his wife Mary opened River Street Photography in 1990, he realized that how much he knew about photography didn't matter if he had no clients, so he pursued self-education in marketing and sales. The result is a very rewarding and successful business.

Business ReVision

Let’s get a new vision for our marketing.  This early-bird class will start your day with new ideas and a focused approach to marketing that connects with today’s client.  What brought in new clients 5 years ago doesn’t really work anymore, so don’t just continue doing what you’ve always done – change the game - separate yourself from the competition – and present yourself in a way that speaks to the new generation.

Michael speaks on Sunday, April 2 at 7:30 to 8:45am in the Upper Terrace.

Professional journeys can start and end in diverse ways.  For Larry, they were always creative.  Curious about measuring everything, Larry began with measurement of radiation following his BA degree in radiation biophysics from KU in 1965.  When administration squeezed the excitement out of discovery, he decided to pursue his passion, photography.  In 1976 Larry and his wife Rachel quit their jobs, began Cascade Photographics out of their home, and by ’78 had built a 5000 sq. ft. studio and color lab.  Measuring light was now his specialty.  Over the following years Larry spoke at the PPA national convention and several affiliate conventions.  In 1990 they felt burnout and decided to sell their successful business and return to a more laid back enjoyment of photography.

This sudden change was possible because they had been saving and investing regularly.  With encouragement from friends Larry studied to get his certification as a Registered Investment Advisor.  Over the years he has taught over 50 seminars on photography and  finance for photographic and business professionals.  He became passionate about sharing the importance of saving with purpose and making those dollars grow.

Presently, Larry is managing approximately $10 million for his clients.  In addition, he manages the scholarship and convention reserve funds for PPW.

Larry will challenge you and motivate you to follow his necessary steps to financial freedom.  It’s a message you don’t want to miss.  It could change your future!

P.S.   Larry is still active as a pilot, and he’s exploring ideas for his 6th book!

Larry will instruct on Monday, April 3 at 7:30 to 8:45am in the Upper Terrace.
